Why OVERRIDE?

Life is so precious, and we only have one shot at it! So many of us spend time looking after others but how much time do we spend looking after ourselves? To be able to live our best life we need to take control and stop waiting for the right time. Being active and healthy is vital and it takes time, energy and lots of self-motivation.

I want to give you an opportunity to exercise whilst having fun, by offering indoor cycle classes locally, at times that work within your busy schedules, at a price thats right and with playlists that will make you feel absolutely awesome. Override’s experienced instructors will give you dedicated attention to help you train safely and effectively. They will motivate you to set goals and achieve results. Our brand new IC6 bikes have been designed for added comfort, efficiency with personal stats technology. The high energy beats playlists are tailored especially for you – song requests are always welcome!

We spend so much time living on autopilot – and sometimes we lose who we really are. Override classes will help you take back the controls. My story is of a once shy, insecure and anxious girl who discovered confidence by taking control and allowing herself to be introduced to adventure. Years later, I am proud to ride high on that podium motivating others to achieve.

Benefits of Indoor Cycling

Cycle classes help you shed fat, improve your heart health, and boost your muscle endurance. You will get a serious workout and general health boosting results. By the end of class, you’ll have a steady stream of endorphins to make you feel great!

What actually is indoor cycling? It is a group exercise class using static bikes, music and technology focusing on endurance, strength, interval, and high intensity training. You don’t even need to know how to ride a road bike! Override’s IC6 bikes give an authentic cycling experience to its riders that even the purest road cyclist will love. The WattRate Power Meter displaying your personal metrics completes the ultimate cycle experience.

If you are looking for a fun cardiovascular workout that will maximise your energy output with minimal impact on your knees and ankles, indoor cycle is your best option. With excellent coaching from the Override instructors and our beats-based and power + rides, you can be sure that your cycle classes will be the most challenging workout of your week. You will also have so much fun with killer playlists that will keep coming back for more.

How to Prepare for Your First Override Class

We want you to feel comfortable and prepared when you take our classes. Here are some tips to help you.

Reserve a bike in advance

Classes tend to fill quickly so book your bike in advance to save disappointment. We would recommend you book your classes for the week in advance.

What to bring to class

Water, trainers or 2 point SPD cleats (cycling shoes which clip to the pedals). Some riders like to wear cycling gloves or use a padded seat – your instructor can give you advice on this. Override will provide you with a towel and anti-bacterial cleaning wipes for your bike.

Eat before you go

You don’t want to attend a class on an empty stomach. Your body needs fuel to power itself through the workouts, and if you don’t eat before class, you might end up feeling weak and tired. Stay hydrated. Have water before you ride and sip whilst you ride. Override instructors will always give you time to stay hydrated.

Introduce yourself to the instructor – we all started somewhere!

Override instructors are there to help you achieve the results that you are looking for. They want to get to know you. They want to know if you’re new to indoor cycle. Override offers a beginner beats ride class once a week. Check the timetable for details. They want to make you feel comfortable. If you show up to class a little early and introduce yourself to your instructor, your entire experience will be more enjoyable. Override instructors will help you set up your bike and run through the class structure with you discretely and will offer feedback and assistance when required.
